A leading financial institution in Toronto is seeking an Associate Director for their Group Risk Management team. This role involves oversight of Information Management risk and controls, engaging with data governance practices, and coordinating reporting to senior management. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in data governance or risk management, be proficient in stakeholder engagement, and possess excellent analytical abilities. As part of the Group Risk Management (GRM) team, the Associate Director, Enterprise Information Management Risk (EIMR) will work with the Director, EIMR to provide oversight and challenge of Information Management (Data) risk and control environment across the enterprise with a focus on 2LOD data controls oversight.
This includes oversight of data controls linked to Information Management Risk, providing support in developing an inventory of Data Controls that will help manage Information Management risk, and oversight of regulatory remediation programs as needed.
