Dear Grain Bakery is looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join our mobile-shop Team. Someone who loves people; loves food especially bread, Coffee and pastries; and who can stay well organized and engaged in busy and slow times. If you have barista experience or experience managing the shop, we would like to connect with you.

Dear Grain is a sourdough Artisan Bakery we create high end breads and pastries for the surrounding communities. Using old techniques in modern ways to deliver a new kind of "bread experience". In our retail shop we offer our breads, pastries, sandwiches and fresh coffee (espresso machine). We are looking for someone who can help connect and share what we offer with our community.

Responsibilities

• Manage Opening and closing of shop
• Educate our clients about our products
• Service customer with a smile
• Barista prepare coffee as per the system and handles menu
• Restocking inventory
• Cleaning the shop inside and out
• Facilitate Markets

Good to Have

• Strong Retail and Barista experience
• Experience handling store operations
• Caring outgoing and natural friendliness to people
• Fluent English speaking and well articulated
• Strong constitution to be able to setup a market booth
• Responsible, Timely, Organized

Schedule Availability And Salary

• Full time 32 Hours
• Available at least one weekend day
• Wage $19.50 to $20.00 Plus tips
