We are currently seeking a skilled Architectural Technologist to work within our head office in Winnipeg. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in Revit, experienced in producing detailed construction documentation, and knowledgeable in building codes and multi-disciplinary coordination. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Transform conceptual and schematic designs into detailed construction documents using Revit.
  • Review drawings to ensure compliance with established specifications and standards, and perform routine drafting and technical tasks throughout the project lifecycle as required.
  • Contribute to the preparation of schematic designs, design development packages, construction documentation, and supplementary drawings.
  • Assist in maintaining quality standards and ensuring compliance with office production requirements, including formatting and special specifications.
  • Coordinate working drawing information with Senior Technologists and support the Project Lead in integrating construction documents across all relevant disciplines.
  • Collaborate effectively as part of an integrated project delivery team.
  • Utilize Revit to produce 3D models and drawings as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A degree or diploma in Architectural Technology or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in architectural technology or a related discipline.
  • Certification with CTTAM and/or ABTAM is considered an asset.
  • Design experience within the commercial and/or residential sectors is an asset.
  • High proficiency in Revit, including 3D modeling and the production of construction documentation from models; experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other relevant design software is also required.
  • Strong working knowledge of applicable building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience reviewing and coordinating structural, mechanical, and electrical drawings.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a creative and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality.
