Full Time Apprentice Technician

Job Summary :

The Apprentice is a trainee who assists the General and Diagnostic Technicians and performs minor maintenance and tire work as required. They focus on learning, assisting with maintaining an orderly operation, and preparing for their certification blocks.

Primary Roles & Responsibilities :

• Understanding basic automotive systems and explaining repairs to others;
• Communicating with Service Consultants and Parts Department;
• Following approved procedures for service and repairs;
• Documenting repairs accurately on customer service orders;
• Attending technical training, reading service manuals and bulletins;
• Adhering to quality control and inspection standards;
• Proactively identifying and communicating repair needs;
• Performing routine vehicle services and repairs;
• Detailing work performed, parts used, and labor charged;
• Recording work on work orders;
• Noting vehicle issues observed during service;
• Promoting teamwork across departments;
• Managing time and workflow independently.

Competencies :

• Acceptance into the Apprentice program;
• Valid Driver's License and good driving record;
