The Opportunity

We’re seeking a visionary and hands-on Analytics Lead who will be instrumental in scaling and optimizing our analytics capabilities. Reporting to the VP of Software, you will build and lead a high-performing team of technical and subject matter experts to expand the geographical and industrial reach of our solutions.

You will act as both architect and builder of our next-generation data platform, implementing scalable analytical solutions. Beyond technical execution, you will collaborate closely with Product teams to ensure these capabilities translate into innovative features that meet evolving customer needs. This role is ideal for a technical leader who thrives on complex data challenges and understands how foundational data systems drive product innovation.

What You’ll Do
  • Technical Leadership & Development: Lead by example, providing hands-on expertise in building, optimizing, and maintaining analytics systems from ingestion to insights.
  • Data & Algorithm Innovation: Evaluate and integrate new data sources, algorithms, and emerging technologies that enhance monitoring and prediction capabilities.
  • Datastore Optimization: Design and refine datastore mechanisms, ensuring efficient data flow, integrity, and scalability.
  • Product Collaboration: Partner with Product teams to align data initiatives with business goals, enabling new customer-facing features.
  • Stay Ahead of Trends: Continuously research and integrate new technologies, ensuring our analytics remain at the forefront of the industry.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and grow a world-class analytics team with a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
  • Clear Communication: Articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, supporting informed strategic decisions.
Requirements
  • Engineering & Architecture Expertise: Proven experience as a developer, engineer, or architect in modern data and geospatial systems.
  • Strategic Vision: Ability to define and execute a data infrastructure roadmap aligned with organizational and product strategies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Track record of working effectively with product, engineering, and business teams.
  • People Leadership: Strong management skills, with success in mentoring high-performing teams.
  • Executive Communication: Skilled in presenting complex information to senior leadership and boards.
  • Education: Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
  • Security Clearance: Must be eligible to obtain security clearance.
