A leading independent charitable hospital in Nova Scotia seeks an Anaesthetic Practitioner to join their theatre team. This role involves providing skilled assistance in anaesthetics, monitoring patients, and ensuring safe care throughout the surgical process. The Anaesthetic Practitioner will provide skilled and effective assistance within the anaesthetic service, supporting a wide range of surgical specialties within our theatre complex. The post holder will prepare and manage anaesthetic equipment, assist the anaesthetist during all phases of anaesthesia and monitor patients throughout their peri‑operative journey. They will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, efficient and high quality care while maintaining accurate clinical records.
You will work as a skilled member of the anaesthetic team, supporting a broad mix of surgical specialties and contributing to the delivery of safe, consistent and high quality patient care.

Hours: Full time (37.5 hours per week)
Rota: Mixed shift rotation (early and late shifts) including on‑call
Salary: Dependent on experience

The post holder will plan, implement and evaluate programmes of care, supervise junior colleagues and uphold professional standards across the service.
