Blubooks is an eCommerce bookkeeping company located in Vancouver, BC. We work with eCommerce business owners to provide affordable, hands-free bookkeeping services. Our team integrates industry leading software to ensure our clients' financials are prepared efficiently.

Role Description

This is an exciting time to join our company, as we are growing rapidly. We're looking for an Expert Accounting Associate that can hit the ground running from day 1.

We will train on the specific nature of the clients and the software we use but you must have a good amount of accounting experience to pull from.

This role in particular will grow in responsibilities quickly so we are looking for someone hungry for a spot on a growing team.

As an expert associate, you will be responsible for preparing financial statements, journal entries, and client communication alongside other members of the team.

Qualifications
  • Proficient in financial statements and journal entries
  • Strong analytical skills and knowledge in finance and accounting software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • Experience with Quickbooks, Xero or other popular financial software
Optional
  • French fluency is an asset (We speak to Revenu Quebec occasionally)
  • Bench Accounting alumni is an asset
