Overview

The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for understanding business/department needs and goals and creating data-driven analysis and insight to support management decisions.

• Provide data and reporting for analyses on relating to business needs gathered from key internal business stakeholders.
• Create and analyze monthly executive management reports
• Query data warehouses and create standard ad hoc reports for end users using spreadsheets, macros, and reporting writing tools
• Provide end user training. Provide training and guidance on how to interpret and apply data
• Perform and analyze data integrity audits
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to determine requirements and participate projects that generated required intelligence with general oversight
• Assist with training new analysts on internal processes, data warehouse use, reporting and data infrastructure
• Administer reporting portal including page design, security, report libraries, and content additions, revisions and deletions

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Experience as a Data Analyst
• Experience with Data Platforms (Microsoft Fabric or Snowflake
• Good Microsoft Excel skills
• Microsoft Windows and Office Proficient
• Good oral and written communication skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact
• Good organizational, multi-tasking, time management skills, critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Good collaboration skills, applied successfully within team as well as other areas
• Good attention to detail, facilitation and project management skills
• Good ability to summarize large quantities of information into actionable insight
• Self-motivated with the ability to complete projects in a timely manner

• Good knowledge of data warehousing technologies and SQL server
• Up to 5% travel time required
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the principle duties of the job
