Job summary
A technology solutions provider in Brazil is seeking a skilled SAP ABAP Developer for a long term contract focused on a strategic spin-off initiative. This role involves designing and maintaining custom SAP applications to support business unit separation, ensuring seamless functionality. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of SAP ABAP experience. Strong problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of SAP SD module are required. We are seeking a skilled SAP ABAP Developer to join our team for a strategic spin-off initiative. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining custom SAP applications and enhancements to support the separation of business units and ensure seamless system functionality during and after the transition.
- Develop and maintain custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEF).
- Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Support data migration, system integration, and cutover activities related to the spin-off.
- Optimize and troubleshoot existing ABAP code to ensure performance and reliability.
- Participate in unit testing, debugging, and documentation of technical specifications.
- Ensure compliance with SAP development standards and best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Strong knowledge of SAP SD module.
- Experience with ALV reports, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, SmartForms, Adobe Forms, etc.
- Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast‑paced project environment.
- Experience in spin‑off related SAP projects.
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori/UI5 development.
- Exposure to SAP PI/PO or CPI integration tools.
- Agile or hybrid project methodology experience.
