Job Overview

We are looking for a Media Buyer & Ad Operations Success Manager who excels in both programmatic/media buying and ad tech operations. This role is critical in ensuring the success of our advertising campaigns by optimizing media investments, managing ad tech infrastructure, and driving performance through data-driven strategies.

The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience in media buying (paid social, programmatic, search, or video) and a deep understanding of ad serving, tracking, and campaign troubleshooting. You will bridge the gap between media execution and technical ad ops, ensuring seamless campaign delivery and maximizing ROI.

Key Responsibilities
  • Media Buying & Optimization:
    • Plan, execute, and optimize performance-driven media buys across platforms (Meta, Google, DSPs, etc.).
    • Manage budgets, bids, and targeting strategies to maximize campaign performance.
    • Conduct A/B testing, audience segmentation, and funnel optimization.
  • Ad Operations & Technical Management:
    • Oversee ad trafficking, tag implementation (Google Tag Manager, pixels, etc.), and QA.
    • Troubleshoot discrepancies in delivery, tracking, or attribution.
    • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve technical issues.
  • Performance Analysis & Reporting:
    • Monitor KPIs (CTR, CPA, ROAS) and provide actionable insights.
    • Generate reports and present findings to stakeholders.
    • Ensure alignment between media spend and business objectives.
  • Client & Stakeholder Success:
    • Act as a trusted advisor to internal teams or clients on best practices.
    • Proactively identify opportunities for campaign improvement.
What We’re Looking For

  • Technical Proficiency – Familiarity with digital advertising tools and platforms like Google Ad Manager, WordPress, GAM 360, traffic acquisition tools such as Active Campaign and header bidding solutions.

  • Attention to Detail – Precision in setting up campaigns, implementing ad tags, or managing publisher configurations to ensure optimal outcomes.

  • Client-Centric Mindset – Strong focus on understanding client needs and providing personalized solutions to maximize client satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of Ad Metrics – Understanding of key ad metrics like CPM, CPC, CTR, RPM, and ad yield optimization strategies.
  • Strategic Thinking – Ability to think ahead and align short-term actions with long-term goals, including scaling performance.
  • Sales Acumen – Skills to pitch ad solutions effectively, negotiate deals, and close partnerships with publishers or advertisers.
  • Results-Oriented – Strong drive to achieve and exceed KPIs and revenue targets.
  • Negotiation Skills – Confidence in negotiating with clients, vendors, and partners to secure the best outcomes for the business.
