A leading payment processing company is seeking a Software Release Manager II to oversee the planning and execution of software releases. This role involves collaboration with various teams to ensure successful deployments and includes responsibilities like monitoring release progress and managing associated documentation. Candidates should have a background in IT governance, strong organizational and communication skills, and experience with tools such as JIRA and Confluence. This position is fully remote and offers competitive benefits.
The Software Release Manager II will plan, coordinate, ensure notifications are sent in a timely manner, and schedule software releases in alignment with organizational strategy and goals. This role works closely with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure the quality and timeliness of releases, monitor and report progress during the release windows, and identify areas for improvement through testing feedback. The position also develops reports and metrics to communicate release performance to leadership.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
4+ years of experience in release coordination, change management, or related IT governance roles.
Familiarity with SDLC processes and testing practices.
Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow, or similar for tracking and documentation.
