- Respond to partner/customer-raised linguistic queries, work with internal language subject matter experts and linguists
- Advocate for linguistic requirements for LATAM users
- Research customer needs and satisfaction rates regarding translation
- Become the domain authority for the product/language combination after product training
- Maintain and disseminate the best practice guide for the Localization Excellence Team to all internal development teams
- Ensure product translatability by collaborating with product owners and solution integration teams
- Educate internal teams on the importance of source language quality and context information
- Provide regular updates on language developments internally and externally
Key requirements
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is fluent in Brazilian Portuguese (native) and English (strong)
- Understands translatability best practices in software development
- Has experience with CAT tools, TMS platforms, and related technologies
- Is familiar with terminology management tools, glossaries, and translation memories
- Has experience working with partners and customers
- Can work in a multi-time zone, multi-tasking environment
- Has basic knowledge of HTML, XML, XLF, JavaScript
Additional desired requirements:
- Basic knowledge of AI in localization
- Familiarity with software development processes
- Experience with financial and ERP content, including Brazilian financial regulations, enabling translation of complex financial and legal materials for a Brazilian audience
- Practical experience with machine translation post-editing (MTPE)
- Academic background in linguistics
- Familiarity with differences between pt-BR and pt-PT
Working within the NetSuite International Product team, you will be part of the global Localization Excellence team, led by a manager based in Canada.
Flexibility and some travel are required. Remote work is possible.
