At Kraken Digital Asset Exchange, our Institutional Sales team assists major clients such as hedge funds, asset managers, family offices, and high-net worth individuals with adopting cryptocurrency on a global scale. This team is at the forefront, demonstrating to major institutions how crypto can transform their business by introducing them to our comprehensive suite of offerings, including spot, futures, custody, staking, and more. Now, as we scale our operations, we are looking to grow the team by hiring the most accomplished sales professionals on the planet. And that’s where you come in!

We’re on the hunt for accomplished Institutional Sales Managers to join our team remotely in the LATAM region! We’re seeking highly ambitious and skilled sales professionals to drive Kraken’s sales initiatives for our qualified product suite.

The ultimate goal of our new Sales Manager is to grow our client base and drive new revenue through business development across LATAM. You’ll identify fresh business opportunities by employing a mix of inbound and outbound sales strategies while collaborating closely with the marketing, product and sales teams to enhance our product suite. This is a remarkable opportunity for a driven sales professional who wants to shape the future of crypto with a leading global brand.

The opportunity
  • Support the institutional sales effort across LATAM, drive client and volume growth for the institutional Kraken product suite.

  • Generate, filter, and pursue client leads, including responding to inbound opportunities and assisting team members in doing the same.

  • Build trustworthy relationships with our institutional clients to understand their needs and demonstrate how Kraken can generate value for them.

  • Partner up with Marketing, Product, Strategy, and Business Development teams to provide market intelligence, develop new product features and leverage competitive advantages.

  • Participate in industry events and conferences to generate leads and enhance Kraken’s institutional brand presence.

  • Be a Kraken advocate in promoting our full product suite of products, services and company’s value to new and existing clients.

Skills you should HODL
  • Over 5 years of expertise in trading environments and/or traditional finance sales, demonstrating a proven track record of driving sales and expanding business within the institutional sales segment.

  • Preferably, you have experience at a crypto company specializing in financial products for institutional clients. If not, a strong conviction in the future of crypto is highly valued and can be a great complement to your background.

  • Demonstrated ability to understand complex business problems, conduct analysis and identify innovative solutions.

  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of cryptocurrency regulations with a proven ability to navigate and ensure adherence to evolving regulatory frameworks.

  • A robust personal network within the financial services sector, particularly with a focus on institutional and corporate clients.

  • Fearlessness to innovate boldly, move swiftly, and take calculated risks.

  • Passion about the cryptocurrency world and most importantly a learning attitude about new crypto-industry trends.

  • Believe wholeheartedly in the crypto, cypherpunk, libertarian values of Kraken described in our Tentaclements document.

  • Located in the LATAM region (Mexico or Brazil), with fluency in both English and Spanish.
