THE OPPORTUNITY

We are hiring a Credit and Collections Director to ourNew Ventures team inSão Paulo, Brazil!

As a Credit Director for Financial Solutions, you will lead our credit department, focusing on B2B operations. This role is pivotal in building and scaling our credit function from the ground up. You will be responsible for defining and implementing credit policies and procedures, structuring our collection processes and ensuring the financial health of our business. Your work will directly impact our ability to grow safely and sustainably by enabling strategic credit decisions.

YOUR IMPACT
  • Lead the development, review, and ongoing maintenance of credit models.
  • Define and update credit and collection policies to ensure they are aligned with business strategy and market best practices.
  • Support structured credit analyses for large clients, assessing financial statements and operational data to determine risk.
  • Improve our credit committee procedures and governance.
  • Develop a hands‑on approach to build and improve the entire credit process, while developing the team.

WHO YOU ARE
  • Proven experience in B2B credit analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of statistical and financial modeling.
  • High analytical capability with a detail‑oriented and strategic mindset.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, both internal and external.
  • Proactive, highly organized, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively to build and scale a new business function.
  • Fluent in English is a plus
  • Previous experience with embedded finance and marketplaces is a plus
