Oversees and directs daily plant operations including production and manufacturing, maintenance, engineering support, safety, regulatory compliance, distribution and warehousing. This role reports to the Senior Operations director and is responsible for an operation with approximately 1000 employees with 4-5 direct reports plus 30-35 frontline leaders.
Manufacturing Operations: Knowledge of manufacturing operations; ability to perform day-to-day operations of a manufacturing plant or facility for products.
Quality and Performance Management: Knowledge of quality management methods, tools, and techniques and ability to create and support an environment that meets the quality goals of the organization. Knowledge of successful performance management techniques; ability to apply organization's performance management system, practices, and tools to developing and improving individual, team, and organizational performance.
Growth and Agility: Knowledge of the necessity of businesses and individuals to experiment, learn continuously, and achieve value for the organization; ability to embrace challenges, show resilience, and proactively seek improvement and innovation to improve an organization's competitive advantage.
Influencing: Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to impact decisions within and outside own organization.
Strategic Thinking: Knowledge of the importance of "big picture" thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization.
Note: This position requires the candidate to work onsite five days a week.
