What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Articulate the value of the employer's platform with Microsoft to decision-makers and expertly manage the complex sales cycle
- Collaborate with the employer's sellers and leadership to identify, progress, and close Microsoft sourced and influenced opportunities
- Support prospecting and sales efforts within assigned territory and/or accounts in partnership with marketing teams
- Provide executive-level communications, analysis, proposals, and status updates to the leadership team
- Navegate key under-penetrated accounts within the Microsoft field and manage ambiguity while solving complex problems
What is Required (Qualifications)
- 10-15+ years of sales experience in the technology industry, ideally in a business development and alliance capacity
- Strong track record of sales quota overachievement
- Specific experience with Microsoft, either having worked there or managing a partnership/alliance
- Proven ability to motivate and influence third-party stakeholders without formal authority
- Established relationships with mid-level and senior leaders in Microsoft's sales organization
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience directing and collaborating on go-to-market activities with Microsoft field
- Skilled in driving bi-directional co-sell collaboration
- Capacity to pro-actively propel account mapping exercises to drive leads with the field
- Awareness of Microsoft sales incentives
