About the Role

This role is integral in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and process improvement across our Australian operations.

In this role, you will :

• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements in line with accounting standards.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and maintain accurate financial records.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Ensure compliance with taxation laws, including BAS, GST, FBT, and income tax.
• Support budget preparation and forecasting.
• Liaise with auditors and assist with financial audits.
• Maintain and improve internal controls and financial procedures.
• Prepare management and stakeholder financial reports.
• Assist with cash flow management and analysis.
• Process payments and ensure payroll accuracy.
• Manage workers' compensation insurance requirements.
• Contribute to ad hoc finance and business tasks as required.

About You

We are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant with strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach.

To succeed in this role, you will have :

• 3-5 years' experience in a similar finance / accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, statutory reporting, and taxation requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, Xero).
• Experience in internal controls and designing financial processes.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
• Excellent planning, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• A proactive, "can-do" attitude, team orientation, and high attention to detail.
