Business Systems Analyst | About You

As a Business Systems Analyst, you are responsible for supporting the success of a Pay-Per-Use program by identifying, triaging, and resolving data and process discrepancies tied to financial operations. You bring a strong analytical mindset, an understanding of how data flows across systems, and the ability to work cross‑functionally across technical and business teams. You’re comfortable navigating reporting systems, investigating issues, and ensuring data accuracy that supports key financial processes such as billing and revenue recognition. While you don’t interact directly with external clients, your work plays a critical role in maintaining operational efficiency and enabling clean financial outcomes. You are detail‑oriented, naturally curious, and confident working independently to drive resolution in a fast‑paced environment.

Business Systems Analyst | Day-to-Day

• Triage and resolve data issues within the Pay-Per-Use program by identifying root causes and directing them to the appropriate teams.
• Maintain and manage the team’s Jira board, including issue tracking, documentation, and validation of outcomes.
• Troubleshoot and update Tableau reports (10–15 dashboards), ensuring accuracy and relevance of the displayed data.
• Write and modify SQL queries to investigate issues, validate fixes, and extract data as needed.
• Collaborate closely with internal finance, technical, and business stakeholders to support billing and revenue-related processes.
• Contribute to chatbot proof‑of‑concept development by providing data insights and supporting testing activities.

Business Systems Analyst | Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a data analyst, reporting analyst, or similar analytical role.
• Proficient in writing SQL queries for data investigation and analysis.
• Hands‑on experience modifying and troubleshooting Tableau dashboards and working with backend data sources.
• Skilled in managing issues in Jira and working across business and technical teams.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast‑paced, data‑driven environment.
• Familiarity with navigating Salesforce and SAP for data verification (no development or admin experience required).
