We are looking for Automation Engineer, who wants to learn and transform his career.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced automation solutions for nuclear operations, including PLCs, DCS, SCADA systems, and process control applications.
  • Oversee the maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of existing automation systems to ensure maximum reliability and uptime.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff on automation best practices and technologies.
  • Collaborate with nuclear operations, engineering, and maintenance teams to identify automation opportunities that enhance safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and maintain complex control logic, HMI/SCADA interfaces, and data acquisition systems for critical nuclear plant processes.
  • Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for automation system failures or performance issues.
  • Ensure all automation systems comply with NRC regulations, 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, and nuclear quality assurance requirements.
  • Manage automation projects from concept through commissioning, including scope definition, budgeting, and schedule management.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation including design specifications, system architectures, maintenance procedures, and training materials.
  • Implement cybersecurity measures for industrial control systems in accordance with NRC and NERC CIP requirements.
  • Evaluate emerging automation technologies and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support outage planning and execution for automation system upgrades and modifications.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Control Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in industrial automation with focus on development and maintenance.
  • Expert-level knowledge of PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar), DCS, and SCADA systems.
  • Strong programming skills in ladder logic, structured text, function block diagrams, and scripting languages (Python, VBA).
  • Demonstrated experience leading automation projects in regulated or safety-critical environments.
  • Deep understanding of instrumentation, control theory, and process automation.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance for nuclear facility access.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
