As an AI Agents Developer at Weni by VTEX, you will focus on designing, building, and evolving intelligent agents for our Agent Gallery. These agents will address real business challenges and unlock practical use cases for the e-commerce ecosystem.

While your primary responsibility is to create and optimize agents that deliver tangible value for our clients, you may also support implementations and activations when necessary, collaborating with Solutions Engineers and other teams to ensure a smooth experience for customers.

Your ultimate goal is to craft scalable and impactful AI agents that accelerate adoption, solve client problems, and maximize the potential of the Weni Platform.

What you will do
  • Agent Development: Design, build, and maintain intelligent agents tailored to e-commerce use cases, ensuring they are scalable, effective, and easy to adopt.
  • Use Case Research: Identify and translate common challenges in retail, marketplace, and digital commerce into agent-driven solutions.
  • Experimentation: Develop proofs of concept (POCs), prototypes, and experiments to validate new ideas and test potential agents for the gallery.
  • Agent Optimization: Continuously improve agent performance by refining workflows, enhancing usability, and monitoring outcomes.
  • Client Support (as needed): Assist in implementations, activations, or testing activities in collaboration with the Solutions Engineering team when required.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and client-facing teams to align agent development with business and client needs.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Provide documentation, training materials, and demonstrations to help internal teams and clients understand and leverage the agents
Who you are
  • You have hands-on experience building or configuring AI solutions, chatbots, or automation workflows.
  • You have a technical and analytical mindset, able to break down complex processes into simple, effective solutions.
  • You are fluent in Spanish (a plus).
  • You have advanced English.
  • You understand the retail, marketplace, and digital commerce domains and how automation can enhance the customer journey.
  • You thrive in collaborative, cross-functional environments and are comfortable experimenting and iterating on new ideas.
  • You are proactive, detail-oriented, and motivated by building solutions that create measurable impact.
