Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled SAS Developer / Data Tester with strong experience in SAS programming and a good understanding of datamart development and data testing processes. The candidate will work on an onsite project based in Dubai, focused on building a robust data mart for a leading client.
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with the data engineering team to support the creation of datamarts.
Use SAS to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources.
Perform data testing, validation, and quality checks to ensure accuracy and integrity.
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts in the context of data processes.
Collaborate with business analysts and developers to identify and resolve data issues.
Document testing outcomes and provide detailed reports on discrepancies.
Required Skills & Experience:
3 to 5 years of hands-on experience with SAS (Base SAS, SAS Macros, SAS SQL).
Strong understanding of data warehousing / datamart concepts.
Good knowledge of ETL processes and data flow.
Experience in data validation, reconciliation, and defect tracking.
Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
