We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will assist with financial reporting, bookkeeping, and general accounting tasks while gaining exposure to all aspects of the accounting function in a fast-paced environment.

1. Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports
2. Maintain and update accounting records, including general ledger entries
3. Process invoices, receipts, and payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance
4. Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
5. Support the preparation of VAT returns and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations
6. Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
7. Prepare and submit internal reports and balance sheet reconciliations
8. Assist in auditing and financial analysis, providing necessary documentation
9. Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
10. Support senior accountants and the finance team in ad-hoc tasks and projects

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1–2 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in the UAE
• Familiarity with UAE tax regulations and VAT compliance
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
• Good communication skills with the ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Knowledge of financial reporting and basic accounting principles
• Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus
