Based in Abu Dhabi

To provide and maintain daily operations management oversight of Wizz Air Abu Dhabi fleet and to control / coordinate the work of involved Agencies and the Operations Control Center personnel with his / her best knowledge in order to obtain safe, economical and passenger oriented operation on the highest standard.

1. Continuous monitoring of all flight operations and where the safety of a flight is in doubt, take all possible steps to ensure the safety of crew and passengers
2. Disruption management
3. Mass disruption tactical management
4. In case of a Flight Safety Occurrence or Operational Disruption, the Duty Manager on duty notifies the appropriate company personnel / authorities
5. In case of an emergency, alarming and calling together the Crisis Management Team
6. Operations Pre-planning / fleet tail assignment based on maintenance requests
7. Flight monitoring and fleet control
8. Internal and external communications
9. Sending the schedule and rotation plan to airports, ground handling agents and maintenance providers
10. Preparing / handling reports and feedbacks
11. Controlling the work of OCC positions and all other positions that are delegated positions to OCC, even if such positions are not being part of OCC by organization set up
12. Arranging airport slots in ad-hoc cases
13. Filling the daily operations checklist
14. Providing recommendations on improving processes, systems and management practices in OCC
15. Developing and amending OCC procedures
16. Supervise and coordinate the work of OCC positions
17. Distribute general operations-related information to affected stakeholders
18. Act on behalf of Sr Manager Operations Control Center in his / her absence
19. Daily cooperation with Wizz Air Abu Dhabi Management and Post Holders.
20. Other duties assigned by Sr Manager Operations Control Center and / or Team Manager of Duty Managers

3. Demonstrated commitment to a Safety Management System
4. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
5. Proficiency in MS Office

1. University or college degree
2. Fluent English (written and spoken)
3. 3 or more years of experience in aviation industry
4. 2 or more years of experience in Operations Control
5. Navigational experience is an advantage
6. Knowledge of AIMS is an advantage

• Continuous work, 12 hours in shifts (day shifts and night shifts in rotation)
