Senior Piping & Mechanical Engineer for Energy Projects
Job summary
An engineering company in Abu Dhabi seeks a Mechanical/Piping Engineer to oversee piping systems in energy and water projects. You will review contractor designs, supervise site fabrications, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering and 5-7 years' experience in Power or EPC projects. Strong skills in piping design and project management are essential. The role offers opportunities for collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience as a Piping/Mechanical Engineer in Power or EPC projects.
- Strong technical knowledge of turbine systems and auxiliary mechanical systems.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is a strong advantage.
Responsibilities
- Review and monitor EPC Contractors piping design deliverables.
- Supervise piping fabrication and erection at site.
- Monitor workmanship quality and promote HSSE standards.
- Track and report progress of piping activities.
