Job summary
A logistics company in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an experienced professional to drive customer development and maximize gross profit. You will be instrumental in preparing quotations, managing customer relationships, and researching market dynamics to enhance business opportunities. Ideal candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 2-5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity.
- Prior experience in Commercial & Business development in a similar industry.
Responsibilities
- Develop new customers and create gross profit.
- Prepare, submit, and follow up on quotations.
- Handle customer complaints and disputes amicably regarding service delivery.
- Engage in customer relationship management activities.
- Collaborate with customers to create solutions for business requirements.
- Conduct market research to understand industry dynamics for potential business development.

- Higher Level Education (Bachelor qualification or Certificate)
- Minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity
- Freight Forwarding | Supply Chain Management Knowledge
- Prior experience in a Commercial & Business development of similar industry
- Proficient knowledge of computers especially in MS Office & Outlook.
- Develop new customers and create gross profit.
- Prepare, submit, and follow up on quotations.
- Handle customer complaints and disputes amicably with regards to service delivery, lapses, etc.
- Partake in customer relationship management activities to improve business relationships with customers to retain and increase sales activities with customers.
- Work with customers to create solutions for their requirements to increase business.
- Conduct market research to understand industry dynamics for potential business development and understand competitor dynamics.
