The Logistic Team Lead is in charge of managing and ensuring overall logistical response and readiness at all times at each of the respective response centers.

The Logistic Team Leader is responsible for ensuring the completion of all logistics response equipment maintenance and support, training and development of all response staff, and implementation of the ‘on-call’ rota system.

The Logistic Team Leader is further responsible for coordinating the movement of response equipment from one base to another in support of a response as required.

Responsibilities:

• Provide management oversight, advice, and assistance to the Logistic Specialist and other employees.
• Ensure readiness and availability of logistics equipment and spare parts to support response and other activities.
• Ensure that spill response vehicles and logistic equipment are maintained in accordance with the manufacturers' recommendations, SAIL procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and issue reports in accordance with agreed guidelines and timing.
• Properly implement all HSE and other procedures within the business.
• Review all HSE and operational matters with the Station Managers and local staff on a regular basis.
• Fulfill roles within the incident command system during response activities.

Accountabilities:

• Planning and managing logistics, warehouse, and transportation.
• Directing, optimizing, and coordinating the full order cycle.
