Job description
Operations:
  1. Managing a portfolio of active assignments.
  2. Leading the creation and optimization of comprehensive financial models to support strategic decision-making.
  3. Developing and refining assumptions, parameters, and scenarios under the guidance of Managers to ensure model robustness and reliability.
  4. Reviewing and interpreting commercial documentation and ensuring it is accurately reflected in the financial model.
  5. Performing sensitivity analysis and stress testing to validate model assumptions and outputs, aiding clients in making informed decisions.
  6. Contributing to the development and enhancement of financial modeling methodologies and tools, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
  7. Preparing comprehensive model documentation detailing assumptions, methodologies, and results.
  8. Maintaining meticulous records of modeling processes and methodologies to uphold high standards and ensure consistency.
  9. Leading in developing project plans, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure efficient project delivery.
People:
  1. Leading a team of modeling professionals.
  2. Training, motivating, and managing junior team members on assignments.
  3. Collaborating closely with team members, learning and contributing to assignments.
  4. Communicating model findings and insights effectively to clients and internal teams.
  5. Simplifying complex financial model issues for non-technical stakeholders.
Growth:
  1. Supporting the business development and growth ambitions of a key sector.
  2. Leading the development of client pitches.
  3. Leading client calls and building client relationships.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • We hire individuals demonstrating core values of Drive, Innovation, Collaboration, and Excellence.
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience in a financial role within a recognized advisory practice or large corporate setting.
  • A good understanding of accounting concepts; an accounting qualification is beneficial.
  • In-depth knowledge of Project Finance concepts.
  • Strong analytical skills with proven experience in building and operating financial models using Excel.
  • Degree in a numerate discipline; postgraduate qualification in accounting or finance is advantageous.
  • Experience with the FAST financial modeling standard is desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely as part of a team.
