Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in ophthalmic or operating theatre nursing, along with a Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Nursing. Responsibilities include educating patients on care post-surgery, preparing the operating theatre, and ensuring compliance with patient safety protocols. - Preparing the ophthalmic operating theatre and surgical instruments.
- Assisting ophthalmologists during procedures such as cataract, LASIK and retinal surgeries.
- Monitoring patient vitals and recovery post-operation.
- Ensuring compliance with infection control protocols.
- Educating patients on pre- and post-operative care.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care.
