Position Summary

Malaak is seeking a compassionate and experienced Elderly Care Nurse to join our in-home care team. The ideal candidate should be a nursing graduate, or have an RN license with practical experience in elderly care. This role is perfect for someone who values patient-centered care and is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for elderly clients in their homes.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct Elderly Care: Provide high-quality, compassionate care to elderly clients, including assistance with daily living activities, personal hygiene, mobility support, and meal preparation. Monitor vital signs and address basic healthcare needs with accuracy.
• Care Planning: Collaborate with families and healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans, tailored to meet each client's unique health requirements and personal preferences.
• Patient and Family Education: Offer guidance and support to families, educating them on elder care techniques, proper use of medical equipment, and ongoing care needs.
• Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and infection control procedures, ensuring a safe and clean environment for clients. Maintain up-to-date documentation of care provided in compliance with homecare standards.

Qualifications

• Nursing graduate (Bachelor’s degree or diploma) with experience in elderly care. (or)
• Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in elderly care.

Experience

A minimum of 2 years in a healthcare setting focused on elderly or homecare services.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong understanding of elderly care needs, including chronic condition management and personal assistance.
