We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior FP&A Manager to join a leading Pharmaceutical Company's finance team in Dubai. This critical role will serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership, driving financial planning, analysis, and decision-making processes to support the company’s growth and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in financial analysis, strong leadership skills, and a background in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.

What You’ll be Doing

• Financial Planning and Forecasting:

  • Lead the development of the annual budgeting process and rolling forecasts.
  • Provide accurate and timely financial projections ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to align forecasts with operational plans.

• Business Analysis and Decision Support:

  • Perform in-depth analysis of business performance including variance analysis, key performance indicators (KPIs), and profitability metrics.
  • Provide actionable insights to senior leadership to support strategic decision-making.
  • Lead scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to evaluate potential risks and opportunities.

• Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare and present detailed financial reports to regional and global stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and reporting standards.
  • Develop dashboards and visualizations for real-time monitoring of business performance.

• Strategic Partnering:

  • Collaborate with business units to drive financial discipline and support strategic initiatives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the executive team, providing recommendations to optimize financial outcomes.
  • Drive cost-saving initiatives and identify areas for operational efficiency.

• Team Leadership:

  • Mentor and manage a team of FP&A professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Build strong working relationships across functions and regions to promote collaboration and data sharing.

• Systems and Process Improvement:

  • Enhance FP&A processes, tools, and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Lead implementation of new financial systems or upgrades, ensuring user adoption and integration.
  • Leverage technology and automation to streamline reporting and analysis.

Who You Are

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; MBA or CPA/CFA preferred.
• Experience:
  • 8-12 years of experience in FP&A or financial management roles, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Proven track record in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis in a multinational organization.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, advanced Excel skills, and experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Hyperion).
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical industry regulations, pricing, and market access considerations is a plus.
• Leadership Skills:
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Soft Skills:
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Language: Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
