Offshore HVDC CE/ATEX/PED Compliance Engineer
Job summary
A leading engineering firm in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an Electrical Compliance Engineer specializing in CE marking and EU regulatory compliance for offshore HVDC projects. The successful candidate will lead compliance activities, ensuring conformity with European directives and project specifications. Applicants should have a degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of 5 years' relevant experience. Strong knowledge of ATEX, PED, and Machinery Directive is essential. Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in CE marking, certification, or EU regulatory compliance.
- Experience in offshore, renewable, or HVDC projects required.
- Strong knowledge of ATEX, PED, MED, CPR, DGUV V3, LVD, and Machinery Directive.
Responsibilities
- Lead CE marking and EU regulatory compliance activities.
- Ensure compliance with EU Directives.
- Review and validate vendor equipment certifications.
- Conduct risk assessments and prepare DoC and CoC.
- Provide technical guidance and training on regulatory requirements.
