Job summary
A prominent construction firm is seeking a Plant & Machinery Inspector to oversee inspections of tower cranes, hoists, and related equipment. The role involves ensuring compliance with safety standards and maintaining detailed records of inspections. Ideal candidates will have a relevant diploma, certificates in crane operations, and several years of inspection experience on large-scale construction projects, particularly in the UAE.
Qualifications
- Minimum diploma in relevant engineering field, degree preferred.
- Certification in tower crane operations from a recognized agency.
- Experience with safety regulations and inspection documentation.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections on tower cranes and hoists.
- Identify and report unsafe mechanical conditions.
- Coordinate with P&M team for corrective actions.
- Participate in incident investigations and audits.
