• Supports the Project Manager as the Company representative with the client and selected subcontractors during the program. Frequently interfaces with upper-level management and client personnel.
• Follows up on instructions and commitments associated with the project.
• Monitors contractor performance pertaining to schedule and conformance to plans and specifications.
• Supports Project Manager in overseeing the Project Plan, Health and Safety Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan, and other documents as required. Ensures that the project meets or exceeds goals established in these plans.
• Oversees time and cost budgets inclusive of initial setup with the direction of the senior project management team.
• Demonstrates capability in project controls (scheduling, cost reporting, forecasting, variation management, etc.).
• Monitors and evaluates project performance in line with time and budgetary constraints.
• Communicates project performance results with the project management team.
• Manages changes in project processes to resolve identified shortcomings in operational methods.
• Plans and coordinates the resources for each job, including inputs from other offices, sub-consultants, and other suppliers, and manages all jobs to deliver them on time and within budget.
• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate to support the Project Manager.
