Job summary
A leading healthcare provider in Abu Dhabi is looking for a nursing professional to support cardiologists in the Cath Lab. The role involves assisting in interventional procedures, monitoring patients' vital signs, and ensuring the Cath Lab is ready for operations. Candidates should possess a nursing degree, valid licensing, and at least 2 years of relevant experience. Strong clinical and communication skills are essential, as well as BLS and ACLS certifications. This role offers a dynamic work environment focused on patient care.
Qualifications
- Valid nursing license/registration with relevant authority.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Cath Lab, ICU, or Cardiac Care Unit.
- BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Assist cardiologists during procedures.
- Prepare the Cath Lab suite.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and ECG.
- Administer medications and sedation.
- Provide pre- and post-procedure education.
- Maintain documentation of procedures.
- Adhere to infection control standards.
- Participate in emergency cardiac care.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team.
