Workshop Technician - Hoist
Job summary
An aviation service provider is seeking a Workshop Technician - Hoist to assist with inspections, servicing, and repairs of Rescue Hoist Systems. The role is based in Abu Dhabi and requires relocation, with mobility assistance and education sponsorship provided. Ideal candidates will have at least 5 years of experience with Rescue Hoist Systems and will be responsible for ensuring safety and operational integrity through maintenance and training of local personnel.

- Completed the Goodrich Rescue Hoist System from the OEM.
- Minimum of 5 years working with Rescue Hoist Systems.
- Familiar with Goodrich Rescue Hoist systems and can perform cable replacements, inspections, defect rectifications, and functional tests.
- Familiarity with Zephyr Hoist Load Testing equipment is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, remove/install, troubleshoot, and repair Rescue Hoist Systems and related systems.
- Requisition parts and maintain shop/bench stock for repairs.
- Complete inspections and prepare necessary documentation.
- Train host nation personnel on maintenance procedures.
- Maintain inventory of assigned tools and equipment.
Rishworth is currently looking for a Workshop Technician - Hoist who will assist the Hoist Supervisor with inspections, servicing, and repairs to keep Rescue Hoist Systems safe and operational.
This is a position based in Abu Dhabi which requires relocation. Mobility assistance will be provided for successful incumbents. Education sponsorship, medical and insurance will be covered along as well with attractive employee benefits.
- Inspect, remove/install, troubleshoot, and repair Rescue Hoist Systems (RHS) and assigned systems per maintenance manuals and safety directives.
- Requisition parts and maintain shop/bench stock for RHS repairs.
- Complete inspections and prepare forms/records.
- Train host nation personnel on RHS maintenance procedures.
- Maintain inventory of tools and equipment assigned.
- Completed the Goodrich Rescue Hoist System from the OEM
- Minimum of 5 years working with Rescue Hoist Systems.
- Familiar with Goodrich Rescue Hoist systems and carried out hoist cablereplacements, scheduled inspections, defect rectifications and functional tests.
- Familiarity utilizing Zephyr Hoist Load Testing equipment is a plus.
