Implement, coordinate, and review quality systems with the overall objective of ensuring conformance to quality standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Key Accountabilities)
• Select a representative (in quantity and quality) part of the sample to be tested using approved methods.
- Prepare and analyze raw meal & raw materials, cement, and samples by XRF, recording, interpreting, and adjusting values according to targets.
- Responsible for maintaining quality assurance processes, testing products, and recording and analyzing results data.
- Follow established processes and ensure adherence to best production practices and product quality standards.
- Monitor the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of product output.
- Monitor the quality of laboratory solutions and chemical reagents (visual deterioration, expiry date, etc.).
- Provide support to the operations team to meet and sustain client targets by providing accurate and timely analysis.
- Ensure key process issues are reported and corrective actions are taken from the client side.
- Record the number of defectives and inform the department manager when the percentage exceeds the limit.
- Inspect products to determine compliance with order specifications and the company's quality control system.
- Perform simple calibration as per calibration plan and inform superiors if results are questionable.
- Recognize and respond to emergencies, report them to authorized persons, and communicate clearly about potentially dangerous situations to ensure understanding.
- Perform any other related duties as required.

Minimum Education Qualifications (Must Haves)
Preferred Education Qualification (Nice to Have)
- 12 standards with science and a minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry.
Well known in English speaking and writing.
Professional Experience (Must Have)
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the cement manufacturing industry.
- Ability to meet quality targets.
- Ability to control operations as per budget.
- Implementation of HSE policies and achievement of zero LTI – Loss Time Injury.
