Job Responsibilities:
- Build financial analytics dashboards and automate MIS reports using Power BI Power Query.
- Prepare monthly Financial Deck presentations for management using PowerPoint.
- Conduct monthly reviews of balance sheet accounts and clear open items.
- Assist in finalizing P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements on a monthly basis.
- Prepare daily fund balance reconciliations.
- Review and record received invoices in the ERP system (Business Central).
- Identify, recommend, and assist in implementing best practices to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Analyze account highlights and prepare corrections for discrepancies as needed.
- Support other accounting and reporting tasks as assigned by management.
Education: Bachelor of Science in Accountancy. Qualified Accountant (CPA) or ACCA certification is mandatory.
Language: English
Skills:
- At least 5 years of experience in similar roles within relevant industries.
- Strong analytical and presentation skills to effectively communicate the company's financial health to stakeholders.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and uphold high work standards.
- Knowledge of the commodity trading business, dry bulk shipping, or FMCG is desirable.
- Strong research and numerical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Customer service orientation.
- Ability to manage competing priorities with high coordination with peers and supervisors.
- Strong business understanding with quick learning ability.
- Organized, proactive, with a sense of urgency.
- Advanced Excel skills, including VBA programming and macros.
- Proficiency in Power BI and Power Query.
- Advanced PowerPoint skills.
- Experience with ERP systems such as Navision Microsoft Dynamics or other major ERPs.
