Skills

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting activities, including AP, AR, and general ledger reconciliation.
• Oversee Inventory Costing and Stock Control processes typical of a retail environment.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and prepare necessary returns.
• Process payroll and manage expense reports and petty cash.
• Assist in preparing accurate monthly financial statements and budgets.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance.
• 1-3 years of accounting experience, ideally in the Retail or Supermarket sector.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel and knowledge of UAE VAT and GAAP.
• A major advantage is experience with retail ERP systems, especially Function Five Technologies' SALES TRACKER ERP.
