Alpha Projects & Logistics, an international project forwarding company, is looking for an experienced bookkeeper. Are you an experienced and independent bookkeeper who thrives on responsibility and wants to be part of a smaller company within the shipping industry? We are a smaller company with branches in Dubai, Denmark, Italy, and Botswana. As part of our growth journey, we are now seeking a dedicated and independent bookkeeper for a position in our Dubai branch.

As our bookkeeper, you will be responsible for the company's bookkeeping tasks, which you will handle independently and confidently while reporting to the company's GM. You will be a key person in establishing and optimizing our financial processes. Since we are a smaller company, other administrative tasks may also occur in addition to the usual bookkeeping tasks, which you should be willing to work on without forgetting that bookkeeping has top priority.

1. Daily bookkeeping and account reconciliation
2. Handling of creditor and debtor management, including payments and invoicing
3. VAT reconciliation and reporting
4. Payroll administration, including refund applications, holiday accounting, etc.
5. Preparation of material for the annual accounts and collaboration with our auditors
6. Various administrative tasks as needed

With your experience, we are convinced that you know what tasks are involved in bookkeeping. You will work in “e-conomic” (a Danish finance system) and carry out reporting via PowerPoint, Excel, etc.

1. Have solid experience in bookkeeping and financial management
2. Be able to work independently and take responsibility for the finance function
3. Have experience with financial systems
4. Be flexible and thrive on taking on different types of tasks in a smaller company
5. Have good communication skills and be able to collaborate effectively with both internal and external partners
