Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Dubai is seeking a highly skilled Engineer - Geotechnical - Site Supervision to oversee geotechnical aspects of construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting investigations, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with design specifications. With at least 10 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, a Bachelor's degree is required, and a Master's degree is preferred. This role also demands excellent project management and communication skills, along with proficiency in AutoCAD. The position is contract-based, with no remote work options.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in geotechnical engineering and site supervision roles.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification.
  • Strong knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles and local building codes.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct geotechnical investigations including soil/rock sampling.
  • Prepare geotechnical reports and foundation design recommendations.
  • Monitor site activities related to excavation and foundation works.
