This major UK and international law firm has an excellent new opportunity for an ambitious Associate or Senior Associate to join their busy and thriving Corporate practice in Abu Dhabi. While the firm have a top-level and fully comprehensive Corporate offering in the UAE, this particular role will entail working closely with a key partner on a range of complex Corporate and M&A transactions (alongside broader Corporate advisory and Corporate Governance matters), with a particular emphasis on the fast-developing Insurance, Reinsurance and Healthcare sectors, both within the UAE and across the wider ME region. As is generally the norm within broad UAE practice, some work across other industry sectors may also feature, along with aspects of investment fund setups and VC investments in high profile regional start-ups. Within a supportive environment, you will be involved in all aspects of matters, with the autonomy and development opportunity to drive and make a significant contribution to matter outcomes. You'll also be actively encouraged to foster and generate close and effective client relationships, and have the opportunity to engage in BD frequently to build and promote your profile at high level across the region. The firm are ideally seeking a UK, Commonwealth or European qualified lawyer, who has extensive Corporate / M&A experience, particularly within the Insurance, Reinsurance and Healthcare sectors, and gained within either private practice or a high-level in-house setting. ME regional experience and Arabic language skills would be welcomed although are not essential.
