Job Title: Social Worker Trainer - Psychology Background

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker with a strong background in psychology and significant experience in handling individuals with special needs to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of psychological principles and practices, along with a commitment to improving the well-being and quality of life for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assess the psychological and social needs of individuals with special needs.
2. Develop and implement individualized care plans.
3. Provide counseling and support to individuals and their families.
4. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, educators, and community resources.
5. Advocate for the rights and needs of individuals with special needs.
6. Conduct regular evaluations to monitor progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
7. Maintain detailed and accurate records of client interactions and progress.
8. Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in psychology and social work.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work or Psychology from a recognized institution.
2. Valid social work or psychology licensure/certification in Abu Dhabi.
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience working with individuals with special needs.
4. Strong understanding of psychological theories and practices.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
7. Proficiency in Arabic and English is preferred.
8. Cultural sensitivity and awareness, particularly regarding the needs of individuals with special needs in the UAE context.
