The Junior Accountant plays a critical role in supporting the overall financial health of an organization. This position is ideal for individuals who are eager to start their accounting careers and are passionate about working with numbers and financial reports. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks that help ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. You will work closely with senior accountants and other finance professionals, which provides an excellent opportunity for learning and career growth. Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and processing of financial statements and reports.
• Manage and reconcile bank accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Support the senior accountants with various accounting tasks as needed.
• Prepare and verify daily financial transactions and enter data into accounting software.
• Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing processes.
• Maintain records of all financial transactions in a clear and organized manner.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations.
• Communicate with clients and vendors to address accounting queries.
• Monitor project budgets and track accounting adjustments as necessary.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial data and internal accounting processes.
• Provide support during internal and external audits as required.
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and reports for the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to ensure financial accuracy.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written form.
• Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
