The Nurse Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the nursing department, ensuring that high-quality patient care is delivered efficiently and effectively. The Nurse Manager will lead, supervise, and mentor nursing staff, maintain compliance with healthcare regulations, and foster a positive and collaborative working environment.

• Lead and supervise nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of patient-centered care; conduct performance appraisals, provide coaching, support, and professional development opportunities for staff; ensure adequate staffing levels and manage scheduling within budget constraints.
• Oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans; ensure nursing practices align with evidence-based standards and organizational protocols; monitor patient outcomes and address concerns related to patient care or satisfaction.
• Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and hospital policies; lead and participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and nursing practices; oversee infection control measures in line with established guidelines.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to provide coordinated and comprehensive care; serve as a liaison between nursing staff, management, and patients/families; communicate effectively to ensure smooth operations and resolve issues.
• Assist in budget planning and resource allocation to ensure efficient and cost-effective use of materials and supplies; monitor and control departmental expenses to remain within budget.
• Stay current with nursing practices, industry trends, and regulatory changes; promote ongoing education and training for nursing staff to ensure continuous improvement in patient care delivery.

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required. Master’s in Nursing (MSN) or related field preferred.
• Licensure: Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in [State].
