Job Summary:
Lead Auditor responsible for overseeing audit teams, developing audit plans, and ensuring quality and accuracy in audit work. Provides expert guidance on risk management, internal controls, and compliance, and communicates findings and recommendations to management and the board.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and guide audit teams to ensure quality, accuracy, and efficiency in audit work.
- Develop audit plans, strategies, and risk assessments to identify key areas for audit focus.
- Oversee audit fieldwork, ensure compliance with audit standards, and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present audit reports to management or the board, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
- Ensure audit work meets professional standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.
-Identify and assess potential risks, and evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls.
- Communicate with stakeholders, including management, the board, and external auditors.
Requirements:
- Professional Certification: CIA, CPA, or equivalent certification.
- Experience: Proven experience in audit leadership roles.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of audit standards, risk management, and internal controls.
- Leadership: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
