Job Summary :

The M&E Technician is responsible for the reliable operation and maintenance of the hotel's physical plant, including sewerage treatment plant, steam boilers, calorifiers, gensets, and other plant equipment and machinery. He shall conduct regular testing and inspections of electrical and mechanical systems to ensure they operate according to engineering standards for optimal efficiency.

As an M&E Technician, your responsibilities include:

• Leading major repairs on pumps, generators, boilers, RO plant, STP, fuel network, water bottling plant, and main pump station.
• Preparing material lists for repairs and reporting work plans to the Section Head.
• Assisting with spare parts requests by checking stock levels and informing the Department Secretary of low inventory.
• Ensuring welding and other works meet engineering standards.
• Updating preventive maintenance schedules as required by the Director of Engineering.
• Recording all repair works in logbooks and equipment record cards.
• Completing work orders efficiently, accurately, and skillfully.
• Maintaining a clean and orderly work area.
• Consulting the Section Head or Director of Engineering when in doubt.
• Performing overtime or adjusting schedules as needed without delay.
• Performing other tasks assigned by the Director of Engineering.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience as a Mechanical Technician.
• Positive and proactive attitude.
• Physically fit.
