Job summary
A renowned design firm in Dubai is seeking an experienced interior designer to create innovative concepts for residential and commercial projects. You will manage project timelines and budgets while ensuring adherence to building codes. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in interior design, strong project management skills, and proficiency in CAD software. This full-time position requires on-site work across various Dubai locations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in interior design with a focus on site supervision.
- Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations particularly in Dubai.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is advantageous.

- Develop innovative and functional interior design concepts for projects.
- Oversee on-site implementation of design plans.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.

- Develop innovative and functional interior design concepts for residential and commercial projects
- Oversee on-site implementation of design plans ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards
- Collaborate with architects, contractors and other stakeholders to resolve design and construction issues
- Manage project timelines, budgets and resources effectively
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any challenges
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations and safety standards
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers
- Liaise with clients to understand their needs and present design solutions
- Stay updated on industry trends, sustainable practices and new materials
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in interior design with a focus on site supervision
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD and SketchUp
- Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations particularly in Dubai
- Excellent project management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Experience in sustainable design practices
- Professional certification (e.g. NCIDQ, BIID) preferred
- Willingness to work on-site in various locations across Dubai
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is advantageous
