Interior Designer (5* Hospitality & Residential)

Major international Property Developer
Based in Dubai
Work on luxury hotel, resort and residential projects

Our client is a major international property developer with an ever growing presence throughout the Middle East and an enviable reputation globally. Due to continued growth within the UAE and GCC, our client is looking to recruit a Senior Interior Designer with a strong portfolio in both the Hospitality and Residential sectors to join its top tier design team based in Dubai.

Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility for and assist in the development of design concepts.
• Plan project and subordinate designer work flows.
• Assist with resourcing requirements and planning for studio projects.
• Clarify scope of work and prepare schedules for review.
• Work closely with the Design Managers and Design Director to develop a suitable design for the project.
• Ensure the project is kept within schedule.
• Monitor the work of the design team and help solve any problems.
• Visualize design ideas in AutoCAD, Photoshop, SketchUp, Illustrator, physical model and/or other suitable media.
• Prepare presentations for client, consultant and/or relevant parties.
• Liaise with necessary consultants regarding the project and carefully consider how to incorporate their comments into the design.
• Work with the Presentation and 3D Visual Team to develop a concept sketch into a developed 3D design.
• Specify suitable and international standard material finishes.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified (or equivalent due to visa restrictions) in Architecture, Interior Design or a relevant related discipline.
• A proven track record in the Interior Design industry – a minimum of 5 years’ post graduate experience is essential.
• Be able to demonstrate a strong portfolio within the 5* Hospitality and Residential sectors.
• No prior overseas experience is necessary, however, the client will expect to see exposure to large scale 5* international hospitality projects.
• Excellent communication skills are a pre-requisite of this role.
