Due to a strong project pipeline, our Abu Dhabi team is growing rapidly, and we are seeking an experienced Wet Utilities Engineer to undertake infrastructure projects.

In this role, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team across infrastructure, buildings, transport, and other project types. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Assisting the Resident Engineer in managing daily project activities, reviewing and approving contractor submittals, and participating in quality control and assurance.
  2. Performing routine inspections and monitoring tasks to ensure proper construction supervision.
  3. Inspecting various aspects of work on-site to ensure compliance with codes, standards, and specifications.
  4. Documenting non-conformances and participating in resolutions.
  5. Overseeing daily construction activities and ensuring adherence to project specifications and regulations.
  6. Reviewing technical drawings, specifications, and documents.
  7. Conducting site inspections and preparing progress reports.
  8. Collaborating with stakeholders to resolve technical issues and maintain schedules.
  9. Monitoring project budgets, schedules, and quality measures.
  10. Ensuring safety and environmental compliance.
  11. Participating in meetings and communicating effectively with team members and clients.
  12. Assisting with change orders, contract modifications, and documentation.
  13. Contributing to sustainable construction practices.

What You Will Bring To The Team

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 10 years postgraduate experience, with at least 7 years on large projects.
  • Regional experience is preferred.
  • Authority registration is preferred.
  • Ability to manage and coordinate a team of moderate size and complexity.
  • UAE Driving License.
  • Good communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience in infrastructure projects.
