Job summary

A leading engineering firm is seeking an I&C Commissioning Engineer in Sharjah, UAE, to support the commissioning phase of a Waste to Energy facility. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation or Electrical Engineering and at least 15 years of relevant commissioning experience. Responsibilities include testing control systems and ensuring operational readiness. This role is offered on a contract basis with no remote work options.

Qualifications

• At least 15 years of commissioning experience in power plants or Waste to Energy.
• Strong knowledge of P&IDs, loop diagrams, and commissioning sequences.

Responsibilities

• Commission and test control systems PLCs and instruments.
• Ensure operational readiness of systems and assist with startup.
• Interface with contractors and O&M personnel to finalize documentation.
